A chaplet for the journey.

The openwork cross of this chaplet is hand-cast of solid bronze from a 19th century Ethiopian antique.

The old Pater bead is a vintage, hand-carved fruit pit. It's set between deep red rondelles of Jasper, and disks of pale coco wood.

The ten stone Ave beads are picture jasper, in naturally varied shades of sandy brown, with a matte surface. Among these are beads of matte glass, in mauves and blue-grays.
