The cross of this chaplet arises from an open heart — a traditional Latin American motif. It’s solid bronze, cast from an antique original. The medal of Our Lady in a circle of radiance is also bronze, cast from a Peruvian antique.

The bone Pater bead is carved with an attractive, simple pattern resembling wheat — an age-old symbol of the Eucharist. Alongside the Pater are round beads of ebony.

The Aves are copper jasper, separated by beads of matte glass and wood.

The connecting rings are bronze. The chaplet is strung on premium quality Soft Flex jewelers’ cable, composed of 49 strands of steel encased in nylon, with a text strength of 26 pounds. Each end is double-crimped for security.
